GW’s Healthcare Corporate Compliance
Graduate Certificate Program
Today, the person most essential to your healthcare organization’s long-term success may not be a doctor, nurse, or technician. Increasingly, the most vital person in your company may be the one who helps you navigate the complex web of healthcare statutes, regulations, and certifications -your healthcare compliance officer.
Designed for working professionals, the 12-credit Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Corporate Compliance (HCC) provides you with a unique and comprehensive education in healthcare corporate compliance. The program is designed for current or aspiring corporate compliance officers and others working in compliance-related fields.
The certificate program can be completed in just over seven months and is divided into three segments:
1. Five-day Residency (3 credits);
2. Six-month Online Distance Learning segment (Two 3-credit courses for a total of 6 credits); and
3. Three-day Capstone (3 credits).
All students who successfully complete the Healthcare Corporate Compliance Certificate are eligible to transfer credits into the in-person or online Master’s degrees in Public Health or Health Administration, both offered in the Department of Health Policy and Management, Milken Institute School of Public Health, if admitted. Credits also may apply to the Master of Professional Studies in Paralegal Studies.
